A round-table discussion with the representatives from higher education and vocational training sectors as well as other stakeholders (Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania, Council for the Affairs of the Disabled under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour), institutions working in the field (Lithuanian Forum of the Disabled, ESN Lithuania, State Studies Foundation, etc.) and learners with specific learning difficulties, who had already participated in the mobility activities, was organised in September 2015.

The community of practitioners working in the field of disability was created as a result of the round-table discussion. Collaboration between the representatives from these institutions will also be maintained in the future. The main point highlighted during this discussion was that not all home and host higher education institutions have the facilities/staff to organise mobility for this target group, and that there is a strong need for improvement at both institutional and professional levels.
